Kinley was born and raised in Greenville, SC, where he currently resides with his wife, Ashley, and their two kids, Leo and Laci, and they are members of Ridgewood Church in Greer. Kinley has a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Ministry from Liberty University and has been involved with CEF since 5th grade, when he first attended a GNC. Kinley began working with CEF in 2009 as a CYIA summer missionary and came on staff in October of 2013.

Kinley’s Greenville staple is Myles Pizza, “because with pizza, you should never cut corners.”

Cindy was born in Seattle, WA and her family moved to Brazil as missionaries when she was 4. After living and serving in Brazil for 30 years, Cindy and her husband settled in Greenville, SC where they have lived since 1994.

She grew up using CEF curriculum and loved children/youth ministry, which led her to graduate with a BA in Church/Youth Ministries, as well as obtain an MS in counseling. Cindy has been on staff at CEF since 2005.

Cindy and her husband, Bill, are members at Westview Baptist Church and cherish having almost all of their family in Greenville including 3 sons, their families, both sets of parents, and 2 siblings-in-law.

Candie was born and raised in Greenville, SC, where she served as a summer missionary with CYIA for three summers. She later went on to graduate from North Greenville University with a Bachelor’s of Art in Christian Studies and spent a season working at a coffee shop and volunteering in Good News Club.

Before Candie came on staff with us in the spring of 2022, she served with the IMB in South Asia for ten years. She currently resides in Greenville and is a member at Brushy Creek Baptist Church.

Candie’s Greenville staple is Asian Market, “so that I can cook like I am in Asia!”

Joel was born and raised in Greenville SC, where he currently resides with his wife, Rebekah, and they are members at Greenville Christian Fellowship. Joel received his Bachelors in Biblical Exposition and Church Ministry in 2020 from the Evangelical Institute of Greenville.

Joel has been volunteering at GNC since the age of 14 in addition to serving as a summer missionary with CYIA for the summer of 2020. He joined our staff in the fall of 2021.

Joel’s Greenville staple is “the Game Kastle, because here I enjoy one of my favorite hobbies of boards games.”

Donna is from Rock Hill, SC and moved to Anderson in 2006 where she currently lives and attends New Covenant Church.

With a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling, Donna started out as a volunteer in a Coordinator role at two different school clubs and then came on as a staff member in 2015 as a Ministry Coordinator

Donna’s Anderson staple is Casa Fuentes. “It’s my favorite because the food is incredible and the service is awesome.”

Germaine has lived in Pelzer since 1980 when she moved from North Dakota. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and has been on staff with CEF for a year and a half.

Germaine is a member at Midway Bible Church in Pelzer and her upstate staple is Dr. Steven Newman, her amazing family physician!

Lyndsay was born and raised in Greenville SC, and has lived in the Anderson area since 2016 with her family, where they attend White Plains Baptist.

Before coming on staff at CEF in June of 2023, Lyndsay received a degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked in children's ministry for 22 years—10 of those years she volunteered with Good News Club.

Lyndsay and her family’s favorite Greenville restaurant is Southern Culture.

Chris was born and raised in Greenville and currently lives in Pelzer with his wife, Brandi, and their four children. He is also blessed to live within walking distance to all of his close relatives!

Chris has received various training courses from Greenville Tech, Victory Bible Institute, and CEF, including TCE1 and TCE2. He and Brandi have had the joy of leading the Children’s Ministry at their church since 2014.

“It was in 2013 when I knew that the Holy Spirit was calling me to the work of Children’s Ministry. I began teaching 5th and 6th graders on Wednesday nights. In 2014, Brandi and I were asked to lead the Children’s Ministry program at our church, which I saw as further confirmation of God’s call that I vividly felt the year before. In 2017, God gave me a strange, yet specific burden to go into Robert E. Cashion Elementary School and conduct a Bible study while wearing my Victory Kids logo t-shirt. The burden that He gave me for Robert E. Cashion Elementary in 2017 became an amazing reality in February 2020 when I taught my first Bible lesson at the school, while wearing my Victory Kids t-shirt!”

Chris has been a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church since 1988. This is where he met Brandi while they were teenagers. He has served as a layman in the roles of Sunday School Teacher, Victory Kids Teacher, Children's Ministry Director, Good News Club Coordinator, and Chairman of the Deacon Board.

Chris loves all things outdoors, spending hours browsing in stores like Cabela’s, Academy Sports, etc. He also loves spending time on the water, enjoying the serenity of God’s beautiful creation! Chris’ favorite sport is basketball, so he’s always up for a friendly game of 21.

Debbie grew up in Summerville, SC and moved to Greenville in 1973. She has a Bachelor’s of Art in Elementary Education and an MED in Reading. Before joining our staff 13 years ago, Debbie volunteered at a Good News Club for two years.

Debbie is a member at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church and her Greenville staple is The Clock in Greer. Her family has enjoyed dining there for almost 50 years. Her go-to for all of those years is hamburger steak with gravy and French fries.

Grace is originally from a small town near Raleigh, North Carolina and moved to the upstate 3 years ago for a business gap year program called OneLife. She graduated from Kairos University with a degree in Leadership and has been involved in the nonprofit world in some capacity for three years.

Grace attends Griggs Memorial Baptist Church and because she is a coffee lover, you can often find her at a favorite coffee shop such as Bridge City or The Village Grind.

Ashley grew up in southeastern Kentucky, and now resides with her husband, Kinley, in Greenville, SC, with their two kids, Leo and Laci. They are members at Ridgewood Church. She attended North Greenville University where she received a BA in Media Ministry.

Ashley joined the CEF staff in 2018. “My heart’s desire is to use my gifts in media and technology to share Christ with the world. I am so thankful for the ministry of CEF, and the blessing to be a part of it.”

Laura was born and raised in Greenville, SC, where she also attended North Greenville University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media. Before joining the CEF staff in 2021, Laura was involved with CEF in some capacity starting at a very young age, and served as a CYIA summer missionary for three summers in high school.

When she’s not working at CEF, Laura can be found working as a barista at Methodical Coffee or running her side hustle, Silly Goose Thrift. She is a part of the launch team for a new church plant in Greenville, SC, called Redeemer City Church.

Beth was born in Nashville, TN and moved to Greenville when she was 9 years old, making Greenville her home. She graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses on creative writing and print media from North Greenville University and has been planning events for over 15 years. Beth started working for CEF in June of 2023.

Beth is a member at Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors and loves sitting outside Old Europe Coffee and Desserts and enjoying a late-night treat. Her other love is books, so M. Judson Booksellers is near and dear to her heart with their unique collection.

Paula has been in Greenville for over 30 years and met her husband, Sonny, at Edwards Road Baptist where they are members. Paula has always worked with young people and children in church including serving as a G.A. Leader and Director, Sunday School teacher, and AWANA leader. Paula started working with CEF in January of 1999, after being on the CEF Board for 4 years.

Kathy is from Walhalla, SC, and currently resides with her husband and two daughters in Taylors. The Morgan family attends Brushy Creek Baptist. Kathy graduated from Western Carolina University with her Bachelor’s in Accounting and joined our staff in August of 2022.

Kathy’s Greenville staple is everything downtown! The Mast General store, Falls Park, Liberty Bridge, she loves it all for its beauty!
