Job Title: Director of Development
Reports To – Local Director
Location – Child Evangelism Fellowship®, Greenville/Piedmont Chapter, Greenville, SC
Purpose – We are seeking an experienced Director of Development. The ideal candidate will have extensive contacts in the Upstate region and a strong network of individuals and organizations who share in the vision of CEF. This role requires someone who can effectively increase our funding base and drive our mission forward. The right individual will conduct this role with a heart of discipleship, seeking transformational relationships over merely transactional.
Qualifications:
Believes and signs CEF® Statement of Faith and manifests a Christ-controlled and disciplined life
Burden and vision to reach lost children with the Gospel
Established network of relationships with individuals, businesses, and community leaders within the Greenville/Piedmont area, leveraging local contacts to support fundraising and community engagement efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required) and at least five years of professional development/fundraising experience (required).
Knowledge of development/fundraising concepts and techniques, centered on sound biblical principles (see our A Biblical Philosophy of Ministry Stewardship).
Superior interpersonal, leadership, and oral & written communication skills
Exemplary organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, demonstrating flexibility
Strong computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, donor software, and social media
