November Prayer Update

Dear Prayer Partners,

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."   Psalm 100:4-5

Praises/Prayer Needs:

  • We praise God for the many prayer warriors who receive this prayer newsletter and pray for the ministry. "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."  James 5:16
  • We praise God for the 1,423 volunteers who have a heart for reaching 7,782 children with the "good news" each week.
  • We praise the Lord for the many changed lives...there are 230 children who received Christ as Lord and Savior in September and October!
  • We praise the Lord for the staff that He has provided for this CEF chapter.  We pray that we will continue to care for one another in a way that is pleasing to Him.
  • We praise the Lord for the finances to support the growing ministry of CEF.
  • We praise God for the 97 elementary schools in our chapter that will have a Good News Club.  Pray for Good News Clubs to be established in every school in our chapter.  There are still 9 schools where we need the principal's permission. Pray that the doors to the public schools would stay open and that we would be diligent to go through those doors.
  • We praise God for the 17 community clubs in our chapter that have a Good News Club. Pray for those workers who are sharing the Gospel with children, many who are not able to stay after school for club.  Pray for a way to open more community clubs.
  • We praise God for the foundational work being done to plan the third annual Good News Spectacular to be held at the TD Center in February for children and their families in this community.  Pray for salvations through this event and for lives to be changed.
  • We praise the Lord that He has faithfully gone ahead of us in the past and for the confidence we have that He will continually go before us in the future.  Pray for wisdom and direction for the Board as they search for a new District Director to lead this chapter.

We have so much to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving Season. We are thankful most of all for God's love and grace poured out on us through Christ Jesus. We are thankful for His wonderful message of salvation and that we are able to share it with thousands of children every week in Good News Clubs. We are very thankful for your prayers as you intercede for the ministry.

For His glory,

B. J. Bateman

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever!  Amen."  Ephesians 3:20-21
